Acceptance of Terms
MeanSalad.com (“Platform”) is owned and operated by Silver Coast Communications, Inc., 7199 Beach Drive SW, Suite 5, Ocean Isle Beach, NC 28469 (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
By accessing or using the Platform, creating an account, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these Terms of Service.
Nature of the Platform
MeanSalad.com is a subscription-based software platform providing tools for managing softball leagues.
- We do not operate leagues.
- We do not enforce league rules.
- We do not supervise players or coaches.
- We do not resolve disputes.
No Handling of League Participant Payments
MeanSalad.com does not process or manage payments between league participants. Payments made via Venmo or other platforms occur entirely outside our system.
- We are not a bank.
- We are not a payment processor.
- We are not an escrow service.
We are not liable for payment disputes, fraud, or financial loss between users.
Subscription Terms
Billing
Subscriptions may be billed monthly, annually, or per season.
Automatic Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled prior to renewal.
No Refund Policy
All subscription payments are non-refundable except where required by law.
Account Responsibilities
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must provide accurate information.
- You are responsible for account security.
Service Availability & Data Loss
The Platform is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”
We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or permanent data storage.
Users are responsible for maintaining independent backups of critical league data.
Artificial Intelligence Disclaimer
AI-assisted tools may generate schedules or recommendations. Outputs may contain errors and should not be relied upon as authoritative.
Acceptable Use
- No unlawful activity
- No reverse engineering
- No scraping or automated extraction
Intellectual Property
All software and content are owned exclusively by Silver Coast Communications, Inc.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “WITH ALL FAULTS.”
THE COMPANY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL SILVER COAST COMMUNICATIONS, INC. BE LIABLE FOR:
• LOSS OF DATA
• LOSS OF REVENUE
• LOSS OF LEAGUE FEES
• LOST BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY
• REPUTATIONAL HARM
• PERSONAL INJURY CLAIMS ARISING FROM LEAGUE ACTIVITY
• CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR INDIRECT DAMAGES
TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:
• THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU IN THE SIX (6) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR
• $100
THIS LIMITATION APPLIES REGARDLESS OF LEGAL THEORY, INCLUDING CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, OR STRICT LIABILITY.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company from claims arising from your use of the Platform.
Binding Arbitration and Waiver of Class Actions
ANY DISPUTE, CLAIM, OR CONTROVERSY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE PLATFORM SHALL BE RESOLVED EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH FINAL AND BINDING INDIVIDUAL ARBITRATION.
Arbitration shall:
• Be governed by the Federal Arbitration Act
• Be conducted in Brunswick County, North Carolina
• Be administered by a nationally recognized arbitration organization
• Be decided by a single arbitrator
YOU AND THE COMPANY EXPRESSLY WAIVE:
• THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL
• THE RIGHT TO FILE OR PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION
• THE RIGHT TO CONSOLIDATE CLAIMS WITH OTHER USERS
Arbitration shall proceed on an individual basis only.
The arbitrator shall have no authority to award punitive or exemplary damages.
If any portion of this clause is deemed unenforceable, the remaining portions shall remain in full force.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of North Carolina.
